This is a great place to grab a quick wholesome breakfast but compared to the other chain stores nearby it is a little bit expensive. My coffee which was nothing exciting and had a flat taste was way overpriced. I would rather go to a mom n pop kind of place if I'm paying that kind of money for breakfast.

Better than most 'family style' restaurants but not really a place I go out of my way to visit and or plan on visiting. We usually end up going maybe twice a year when my wife gets her Turkey Dinner craving. So if you are hungry for that, worth the visit. Aside from that, the rest of the stuff is pretty good and the price is reasonable.

My first time here. The wait to be seated was 8-10 minutes and we were not greeted by anybody. Staff was friendly. Our food was brought out VERY FAST. Biscuits were yummy. I was glad I got mine because I heard the kitchen staff saying they had none ready and everybody forgot to put them in the oven! Prices were great. The steak was blah but I ate it all! I will return and again because it was quiet & fast...hubby says his omlette was great.

Crowded on a sunday morning, but well worth the wait. Reasonable prices and a wonderful display of food- for breakfast. The biscuits were warm, crusty on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside- just the way I like them.

A fantastic team of dedicated waitresses is why we keep going back. The staff is charming, attentive and helpful. My family goes to this Bob Evans at least once a week and we're always well taken care of. When I have a client meeting, I know this is a perfect place to go. One request: I wish you had wifi

Our family lives about a block from this Bob Evans and we love it! The manager is a nice guy and will make sure your food is good. The servers are good people (especially Ms. Melanie and Savannah!) and the food is always tasty! It may be because we're locals that eat there regularly, but I think this is the best Bob Evans I've eaten at. :)

A good ole breakfast place. Been coming to this destination less than the 1 in the restaurant park. But thats about to change. Went here. Got seated. Our waitress at first was procrastinating! We sat down and waited almost 5 minutes when she came and told us she will be right with us in a minute. Another 5 minutes came, when she brought us our utensils then left to go somewhere else... Another 5 minutes came. We were about to leave when she finally came to take our orders. Finally... But 1 thing. We came around 8:20 and forgot that the place closes at 9. That might have been a factor as to why she was like that? I dunno.... Yes this was bad at first. But service started to dramatically pick up and I was impressed with her overall service. 3 of us. 5 drinks. 3 meals with 4 sides and 2 extra sides. She had to remember all of that. And she also recommended other things to eat, asked us different things. Then she went away to put our orders in. When we got our food soon after? We got exactly what we've ordered. Nothing was wrong. It was all right. Then she really stepped up and refilled our drinks on time. Checking by to make sure we are enjoying our time there. Asking us if we need anything else. Was very friendly and attentive. Service at first reminded me of the service we got at Applebees in Laurel off Contee Road. But then service just went booming... Really good. The food is always good here. Its Bob Evans!

What can I say? Notice the empty table in front of me. Completely Disappointed. We stopped in because we were starving for breakfast. The restaurant didn't appear too busy; there were lots of empty tables and they seemed to have quite a number of employees in the serving area and in/out of the kitchen. When we were sat, it took 8 minutes to be recognized by a server - by anyone - and that's only because we stood up and went to find someone. That should have been the first clue. The other clue should have been the $1 tip left on the table behind us... It then took over 25 minutes from ordering to receive our food (simple scrambled eggs and plain pancakes, nothing fancy). Our server barely spoke to us and acted like it was a chore to assist us or provide us with refills on our coffee (15 minutes?). When we paid, the manager inquired as to how everything was. Our response, "the food was ok". He picked up on this and asked about the service. We relayed our experience and he apologized, asking where we sat. He said he would look into it and make sure it didn't happen again. At least it won't happen to us; we won't be back. We watched the same customer service level all around us. For my money, I'll go somewhere else.

Service was great, but the buttermilk pancakes tasted like they were made from a box. I had to spit them out they were so bad. You'd think that since their main customer base arrive during breakfast, they'd take the time to make their batter from scratch!

I've been coming here since I was a kid. Definitely a good place to grab some traditional breakfast. I think they could use some new staff as in more polite staff. Either way, the food is always good!

My boyfriend and I just left this restaurant and we're not pleased at all! So many things occurred to make our visit not a good one. 1. Once our food was brought out other food items were missing. The server forgot my turkey sausage boyfriend's OJ. Both were brought out toward the end of our meal. While the server apologized, he appeared like it was ok and expected us to keep what we ordered. 2. When he brought my sausage to the table, I eat the first link and realized it is pork. Im on a strict meal plan and I know I clearly stated I wanted turkey sausage. 3. The manager MIKE M. (Not sure last name) dealt with some customers in front of us in an unprofessional manner. While they were expressing their issues with him, his demeanor was so negative toward them. You could tell he was so aggravated with them. He was typing on the register hard, slamming down the pen and no smile on his face. 4. When we got to the register to pay, my boyfriend said to him "Seems like yall need more training for your workers. Because we had a bad experience also." His response to the both of us was "No people need to report to work" and stormed to the back. He DID NOT address our concerns at all!!! That drew the line for us!! AWFUL! So an assistant store manager is ok with letting people who were not satisfied with their visit walk out without hearing what occurred. SMH! You don't have to worry about us visiting that location again.

Several servers were confused and bumping into each other as well as other stationary objects. No..the staff was not new. Food took extremely long getting to our table. Hair was found in plate of food when it finally did come....grrrr. Our Waitress was very absent. Just an overall bad experience.

Came to this location because the one closest to me is closed for renovations. Two stars for the poor service my son and I received today. The waitress never bothered telling us her name. She never asked how everything was, never refilled drinks. She probably never would have brought the extra napkins I asked for had I not asked again. She did say, as she was handing me the check, "let me know if you need anything," but she never made eye contact or even came around to get her attention. I would give a single star, but we were seated rather quickly given how busy they were. Bob Evans is Bob Evans, so I'd come again, but I hope to never encounter this lady again. I wonder if she's ever heard of "good customer service?"

What can I say, it's Bob Evans. The food is pretty much like the other locations I've tried. The place is clean, and service has been good. We usually are here in late evenings, so it's never very crowded. Sure, it's not the healthiest food, but it's tasty.

Me and the then girlfriend went to Bob Evans once in Germantown. To make a long story short it was horrible. The service was forgettable and the food was mediocre at best. Call me a sadist, but for the last couple weeks I've had a slight hankering for Bob Evans - the closest one being in Ellicott City. It took a few weeks for me to convince the now wife to take a trip to Bob Evans, but we finally ended up there last week. We could tell this experience would be better the moment we stepped into the Ellicott City location. The hostess was friendly and attentive. We were promptly seated. Our server came our table within a minute, ready to help. The food was pretty good for a breakfast-type place. (Let's be honest, when you compete with the likes of IHOP the bar isn't set that high). I had steak and eggs. The steak was spiced fairly well - almost tasted a bit gamey, not traditionally American. I think some people would not like it - but I did. We were tempted by a little specials menu that sat on the table and ordered the seasonal pancakes. It was covered with apple and caramel; and a layer of sweet cream cheese sat between the flapjacks. Unapologetically unrefined and unhealthy.. and very tasty. Service was good. Food was decent. I would be happy to eat breakfast here again.

I went to this Bob Evans because I've never been to one before. I'd put Bob Evans on par with IHOP and Denny's, but I'd rather go to IHOP. The breakfast was pretty good, but I found the service to be pretty meh. I got the meat lovers BOBritto(ordering this made me feel stupid), and the cornmeal mush. It was all pretty good. However, I suspect that an omelette and biscuits would've been a better choice. I've only been here once, but I'm pretty sure I got a solid gist of what Bob Evan's is about. Come here for a decent big greasy breakfast. Expect service to be a little slow, maybe frowny. I'd go back if my friends requested it, but would rather find a traditional diner, or someplace I haven't been before.

Online order...not so great service...bland mashed potatoes and gravy...chicken fried steak was typical frozen kind with gristle and weird pieces inside..coconut cream pie was tolerable but I would not order again..grocery store brands are better...rolls were good though...will not go back...

I freaking LOVE Bob Evans. Seriously, I don't care how much grief I get for that, I LOVE IT. Bob freaking Evans. Seriously. It's about 10,00,000,000 steps up from Denny's, IHOP, or whatever other chain restaurant some haters might want to compare it to. Why do I love it so much? I honestly have no idea. Maybe it's because I had never heard of the chain until I moved to Chicago in 2007, so it's all new and exciting to me. Maybe it's because they make the best biscuits in the history of biscuits. Maybe it's because they actually serve sweet tea, even when you're not at a restaurant in the South. For all those reasons and more, I have been known to cross state lines to eat at a Bob Evans. Yes, really. The biscuit sandwich is the best thing ever, in the whole wide world. For $2.99 you get an egg, cheese, and meat on one of their scrumptious biscuits and you're so full afterward you can't eat for a week. How can you beat that?! The boy always gets whatever ridiculous breakfast it is that comes with one or two or four of absolutely everything on the breakfast menu for $6.99 or whatever. And then he orders a side of toast on top of that. The candy cane hot chocolate is delish. The waffles are good and the cornmeal mush is interesting. The biscuits are heavenly, and if they bring them to you not-warm you can usually get more, because they should be warm. The waitresses are always so nice and down-home-y. There's a gift shop. Do you want me to go on? Because I could go on. They serve breakfast all day!! That should go without saying, though. Oh, this particular Bob Evans is the one we go to on our way to/from my cousin's place, which is why I chose this particular one to rate. But the review applies to all of them, every single fantastic one.

Good down home cookin'. Bob Evans always hits the spot, whether you're rushing before work or taking your time reading the newspaper on a Sunday morning. The food is always good, the coffee is great, the servers are friendly and it's worth it if there's a wait. The chicken noodle soup is probably one of the best I've ever had.

Clean, homey restaurant with good choices on the menu for breakfast. I've always loved Bob Evans sausage, and they taste great freshly made here. The biscuits are yummy and I always eat more than one. I like the omelettes here, as well. The wait is never too long even on the weekend because they do a good job of turning tables. My only gripe is the servers get swamped and you may have a hard time flagging them down for special requests if they are on the move. Once you get their attention, they are happy to oblige. The managers on duty always stop by our table to ask how everything was during our meal. Bob Evan's friendly atmosphere is greatly appreciated during our family breakfasts.
